If you're looking to spice up your trading toolkit, let’s dive into Fractional Bands. This nifty indicator tweaks price movements by utilizing fractal Brownian motion, which considers the fractal dimension. Unlike the traditional Bollinger Bands, which are rooted in Wiener’s Brownian motion (a specific form of fractal Brownian motion), Fractional Bands brings a fresh perspective to price analysis.

While it may sound like a math whiz’s dream, the differences between these indicators are more technical than they are practical for trading. That said, Fractional Bands can still pack a punch when used alongside other indicators to help you spot trends or reversals in the market.

This original indicator was crafted in MQL4 and made its debut on the CodeBase back on May 7, 2009.
