Welcome back, fellow traders! Today, we’re diving into the latest updates from the AMA Trader 2, a powerful tool for MetaTrader 5 that can take your trading game to the next level.

The new version has rolled out some exciting changes, including the addition of a Time Control feature. Meanwhile, the Profit Limit for Close All and Withdrawal parameters have been removed. Plus, there’s now a trailing lot size control, which you can explore more about in the RSI Dual Cloud EA code.

When it comes to checking trading signals, it’s crucial to do this right when a new bar forms. The Expert Advisor generates signals based on two key indicators: the iAMA (Adaptive Moving Average) and the iRSI (Relative Strength Index). Let’s break down how the “Open Buy” signal works:

Step 1: The RSI must be below 30 (you can adjust this in the EA under the RSI Level Down parameter). Step 2: The price needs to cross above the AMA indicator. To fine-tune this process, the Step Length parameter allows you to set the bar distance between these two steps.

Understanding Martingale Strategy

Now, let’s talk about how the Martingale strategy plays into this. When a trading order comes in, the system will check the profit status for both BUY and SELL positions separately. Here’s how it works:

  • Open Buy
    • If the profit on BUY positions is less than 0.0, the system will open two BUY positions.
    • If the profit is above 0.0, it will open just one BUY position.
  • Open Sell
    • If the profit on SELL positions is less than 0.0, it will open two SELL positions.
    • If the profit is above 0.0, it will open just one SELL position.

With these updates, the AMA Trader 2 is shaping up to be a robust trading companion. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or just starting out, mastering these features can give you a significant edge. Happy trading!
