Overview:

Welcome to the world of Trading Simulator 2! This enhanced version of the original Trading Simulator is designed for traders looking to sharpen their skills, test out strategies, and analyze indicators at lightning speed.

For an in-depth look at the basic functionalities, check out the detailed descriptions on that page. Here, I’m excited to share the new features that make this simulator even better.

Break Points:

One of the standout features of this program is the BreakPoint function. This handy tool pauses the tester whenever the price hits a predefined Top or Bottom value.

Since this function utilizes a DLL library, make sure to enable it for the EA to work properly:

The BreakPoint feature is perfect for:

  • Capturing the exact moment of price movement,
  • Identifying entry points for better situational analysis,
  • Opening orders as if they were Stop or Limit Orders.

Setting Break Points:

Break Points can be defined using labels like Training Upper Stop and Training Lower Stop. You can adjust these through the Text property and send them for execution by shifting the label upward, similar to how it was done in the previous version.

Order Modifications:

In trading, especially when using manual strategies, the ability to adapt to changing market conditions is crucial. That's why having the option to modify Stop-Loss and Take Profit values is so important.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Adjust the Stop-Loss and/or Take Profit values in their respective labels.
  2. Shift the Mod. label of the corresponding open order upwards.
Tip: Use the pause feature on the tester to thoughtfully consider parameter changes.

In Summary:

With the Trading SIMULATOR, you can easily simulate nearly all basic trading operations:

  • Manually opening market orders.
  • Placing pending (stop, limit) orders manually through break points.
  • Modifying and closing orders manually.

I believe that working with the Trading SIMULATOR will help you sidestep common pitfalls, saving both your hard-earned cash and your peace of mind.
