If you’re diving into automated trading, this post is for you! Today, we’re exploring a MetaTrader 4 example featuring a MACD automated trading system that integrates advanced money management and a trailing stop function.
Here’s the scoop:
- We’re using a Multi Time Frame approach, specifically taking signals from both Daily and 15-minute charts.
- The strategy kicks in when the larger timeframe gives a Buy (or Sell) signal. It then waits for confirmation from the lower timeframe before placing a trade.
- Buy Rule: Activate when the MACD histogram is > 0 on the Daily chart and also shows the same on the 15-minute chart.
- Sell Rule: Trigger when the MACD histogram is < 0 on the Daily chart and matches on the 15-minute chart.

Important Recommendations:
- Don’t use this on a live account just yet!
- This example is purely for educational purposes, so don’t rely on it for actual trading.
- Always trade wisely!
