Hey traders! Today, we're diving into the Sidus V1 Cloud indicator for MetaTrader 5, a fantastic tool that can help you navigate the markets with confidence.

What Does the Sidus V1 Cloud Do?

This indicator creates a cloud within a channel formed by two types of moving averages: the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the Linear Weighted Moving Average (LWMA). It’s a great way to visualize market trends and make informed trading decisions.

Key Input Parameters

The Sidus V1 Cloud comes with five important input parameters that you can customize:

  • First LWMA Period: This sets the calculation period for the first LWMA.
  • Second LWMA Period: This sets the calculation period for the second LWMA.
  • First EMA Period: This sets the calculation period for the first EMA.
  • Second EMA Period: This sets the calculation period for the second EMA.
  • Applied Price: This is the price used for all the calculations.

Using the Sidus V1 Cloud

Here are some recommendations to get the most out of this indicator:

  • Always use a timeframe of H1 or higher for better accuracy.

Components of the Indicator

The Sidus V1 Cloud consists of:

  • 5 LWMA (Blue Line)
  • 8 LWMA (Yellow Line)
  • 18 EMA (Red Line)
  • 28 EMA (Red Line)

Entry Signals

Keep an eye on the following signals when deciding to enter a trade:

  • LONG: When the 5 LWMA and 8 LWMA cross the EMA channel upwards. If the 5 LWMA crosses the 8 LWMA upwards too, that's a strong signal!
  • SHORT: When the 5 LWMA and 8 LWMA cross the EMA channel downwards. Again, if the 5 LWMA crosses the 8 LWMA downwards, it’s a strong indicator.

Exit Signals

For exiting trades, watch for these signals:

  • LONG: Exit when the price hits the peak and the 5 LWMA falls below the 8 LWMA.
  • SHORT: Exit when the price hits the bottom and the 5 LWMA rises above the 8 LWMA.

Additional Signals

Here are some extra tips:

  • Always close your position when the EMA lines touch or cross each other. Then, re-evaluate the situation and open a new position based on the latest signals.
  • If both LWMAs cross the EMA channel, it could indicate that the EMA lines are about to cross soon.
